Rain Sensor
I think we have a new competitor in our unofficial “Most unnecessary gadget in the world” competition. Just take the detection unit outside and the alarm unit in your house. Rain sensor will then alert as soon as it starts to rain outside. All this just so you don’t have to look outside.

Um….what if you’ve got washing out and you’re inside working - surely an alarm to tell you when it starts to rain so you can gather your washing would in fact be very useful.
