Outdoor Solar Light Set

Posted on April 10th, 2008 in Ecology by webmaster

“Unlike standard outdoor holiday lights that require being tethered to a dedicated electric source, and a disciplined memory to turn them off each night before retiring, this strand of 50 bright white LED lights are powered by an integrated solar panel and two rechargeable AA batteries, allowing you to place them anywhere the panel receives sunlight. The solar panel stakes into the ground and detects darkened conditions, which activates the LEDs. The batteries store enough solar energy to provide up to nine hours of light, and the LEDs are rated for 10,000 hours of operation.”
